Dear Students,
On February 3, 2026, an English Proficiency Exam will be administered by the School of English Preparatory Education for the following students:
- Students who will be admitted to associate degree programs in the Spring Semester of the 2025–2026 Academic Year through horizontal transfer based on general grade point average, and
- Students who wish to transfer through central placement base score, including preparatory class, intermediate, and final-year students (provided that they have not exceeded the maximum duration of study) who were enrolled in higher education institutions in Turkey (excluding the TRNC) in 2025 or earlier.
All exam halls are located in the Main Campus – School of Foreign Languages building.
• Proficiency Exam Schedule is as follows:
February 3, 2026 – Written Exam (10:00 – 12:15 / 135 minutes)
- Listening (25 points)
- Reading (30 points)
- Use of English (10 points)
- Writing (20 points)

- Each student will be allocated 7 minutes.

• We kindly ask students to pay attention to the following points:
- Students must be present in the designated exam halls by 09:30 at the latest on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.
- Students must bring pencils, an eraser, and a ballpoint pen with them for the exam.
- For the speaking section of the exam, students must be present in the corridor of the exam hall at least 10 minutes before their assigned time slot on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.
- Students must bring their Turkish ID cards in order to attend both the written and speaking exams.
